If you want to do this from the command line just open up a terminal and run the following:

sudo apt-get remove --purge libreoffice

If you are using a graphical desktop you can do the following:

• open up Software Center
• search for LibreOffice
• hit the the “Remove” button for each matching package (might be more than one)
